Admissions Criteria

At Nelson Mandela University Business School, prospective PDBA part-time students are required to meet the following admissions criteria:

PHASE 1

  • Have an Undergraduate Degree or Advanced Diploma (or BTech) at NQF Level 7 (must be a formal qualification). Should you have completed your qualification through a college, you would have to have the qualification SAQA approved.
  • Have a minimum of three years working experience (full-time).
  • Applicants must reside within a 60 km radius of one of our satellite campuses.
  • Be fluent in English. Applicants not fluent in English will be required to produce an English Proficiency certificate to verify English language skills.

An applicant who meets the above criteria will then progress onto the second phase of the application process: the writing of the Psychometric Test.

PHASE 2

Once your application has been assessed, applicants that meet the application criteria will be asked to partake in an interview.

Once the interview is complete a final review of your application will take place and you will receive notification of the outcome a week after your interview.
