Another two MBA full-time students to study abroad at ESB, Germany in 2016 30 March 2016

Two full-time NMMU MBA students became only the second group of MBA students to be given the opportunity to study abroad at the European School of Business (ESB) at Reutlingen University in Germany. Mr Andrew Bradley, NMMU Business School Advisory Board member and CEO of Old Mutual Wealth led a thought-provoking discussion with a packed Auditorium at the NMMU Business School a few days ago. Quoting Warren Buffet, he reiterated: “To invest successfully over a lifetime does not require stratospheric IQ, unusual business insight, or inside information. What is needed is a sound intellectual framework for making decisions and the ability to keep emotions from corroding that framework.” He used this quote to emphasize the simplicity of investments. It merely requires some knowledge devoid of emotion and commitment.

February 2016 - In February, the Business School relaunched its Alumni Chapter, by hosting a breakfast event for numerous alumni and stakeholders.
