Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University Business School Leaders for tomorrow
Executive Education

Message from the Leadership Academy Director

The origins of Executive Education can be traced back as far back as 1911 when MIT’s Sloan School of Management started providing business training in an academic environment.  As age-old business concepts became outdated in the 80s and 90s and the fast pace and scope of international business became increasingly demanding, the need for higher levels of business education became vital.

NMU Business School’s Leadership Academy provides the opportunity for you to enhance your career progression and prepare you for future promotion by enrolling on executive educational short courses and appropriate Leadership and Management programmes.  With our unique programme offerings you can progress from a foundation leadership level through to senior management.  Our programme and course delivery are structured in a flexible way to accommodate you in a demanding business environment.

As a consistent central theme in our programmes, you will experience “applied action learning”.  This allows you to complete our programmes not only with a higher level of conceptual understanding but also with new-found knowledge and skills.  Our offerings not only provide you with professional development qualifications but also introduce you to a successful network of professionals.

We pride ourselves on the ability to consistently customise or personalise educational interventions based on the specific needs of the individual and organisation.

We look forward to welcoming you to a business school of excellence, known for the high quality of our facilitators and course content.  Our competent and friendly staff will be the career catalyst for you to enhance your future prospects!

Kind regards

Leon Mouton
